Weather signals before takeoff
The developer describes an unusual buzzing phenomenon: animals take shelter and electrical equipment becomes unreliable. The diary explicitly warns against flying a Wasp during it. Heavy rain, cyclones and lightning are also reasons to wait. No dependable forecast for the buzzing is described. Weather source.
| What you notice | Response |
|---|---|
| Buzzing, animals seeking shelter, electrical trouble | Do not start a flight during the phenomenon |
| Heavy rain, cyclones or lightning | Delay departure |
| Fog or an unclear landing area | Editorial advice: regain a clear view before committing |
Read landmarks rather than guessing a direction
The level-art diary explains that distinctive rocks, trees and ruins help players orient themselves. The later concept-art diary also describes environmental cues that draw attention to possible interactions. A landmark is a reference point, not proof of a safe route or guaranteed loot. Suggested expedition routine
These are editorial planning steps:
- Choose a nearby objective and identify a return landmark before leaving.
- Describe that landmark to teammates using its shape and surrounding structures.
- At each new viewpoint, look back and confirm that you can still recognize the route.
- If visibility deteriorates, avoid extending the expedition. If already airborne, assess reachable landing areas using the current conditions; this guide cannot supply a universal emergency maneuver.
- Before returning to flight, check the weather, fuel and vehicle condition again. No fixed waiting timer guarantees safety.
Changing altitude is a separate preparation task
The world diary describes stronger engines as a requirement for travel between island layers. More fuel alone does not solve that requirement. Verify the capabilities of your current craft before choosing a destination above or below your familiar area.
