Cloud Cruiser at 0 MN: no confirmed solution
In the zero-thrust discussion, checked 2026-11-01, the author reports 0 MN after modifications. Adding engines and reactors did not help the author. Another player’s reload suggestion describes a different balloon malfunction; the original author has not confirmed it fixes zero thrust.
Do not treat those suggestions as a solved route. Record the build, modifications, thrust display and sequence before reporting; this thread does not establish an exact applicable patch or a universal recovery method.
What is the Cloud Cruiser?
The Cloud Cruiser is a flying base that travels with your expedition. Developer material describes onboard work and customization, and makes clear that managing the vessel is a larger task than flying an individual Wasp. Earlier system demonstrations were made in an alpha build.
Does the demo include it?
The April 2026 development update says the Cloud Cruiser was outside the demo’s progression. A demo ending before you obtain the base is not proof that you missed an unlock. This page does not supply an unverified quest name, repair recipe or guaranteed acquisition time.
A first-base preparation plan
The following is an editorial workflow to apply once your current objectives give access to the vessel:
- Finish the objective shown by the game and inspect the systems it actually makes available.
- List the tasks you want to do aboard: storage, processing, preparation for an expedition and maintenance.
- Keep the supplies for your next task together; check each displayed recipe before spending materials on optional construction.
- Plan a clear Wasp return and unloading area. Confirm the current interaction prompts rather than relying on a claimed automatic docking shortcut.
- In co-op, agree who handles travel and who checks supplies. Regroup before moving away from teammates.
If a work area does not function, check its visible requirements and current objective first. Compare your installed patch with the official updates before rebuilding or discarding progress.
Reactor core missing during loading?
The EA 1.0-5 notes, checked October 31, list fixes for core loss after Hauler magnet detachment and a core despawning in the cargo lift. Compare the precise action and your version before assuming every missing-core case has been solved. The patch does not promise restoration of already lost cores.
The reactor discussion includes both an installation suggestion and reports of failed attempts. This guide does not turn that disputed sequence into a guaranteed route. Docked Camp Hub trunk interaction
Developer devl0f confirms that docked Camp Hub trunk access is intended, checked October 31, 2026. That reply records the historical tracking state before EA 1.0-6. The developer suggests a large Wasp pad as a possible workaround, without guaranteeing success. The later official EA 1.0-6 notes, checked 2026-11-01, now list VENU-14674 as a specific docked-storage interaction fix. The earlier plan is no longer the latest status; this does not promise restoration of lost contents or a fix for every storage problem.
Keep this separate from boxes failing to place on extreme terrain, manual-attachment despawn and forgetting where a camp was left. If the trunk is visible but cannot be opened after docking, record that symptom and the pad/version; do not treat it as proof that the contents were deleted.
